Why to choose Foil Journey?
Two years ago Foil Journey created the concept of taking the beginners out from the ocean to the lagoon, picking them in their hotels and driving to the lagoon for the best foil learning experience. Starting on a flat sweet water spot is what turn a lesson into a fun and safe experience.

What does it mean?
Being able to understand the wind and how to manipulate the equipment and your body in a way you don’t drift downwind like any beginner.
Why is that so important?
The objective is to keep the student in the water, on the board. That’s the only way to maximixe the practicing time and shorten the learning process.
Why Lagoa do Paraíso?
The Lagoa Paraíso is the most beautiful landscape in the region and there is almost no one in the water, it’s free for us! The wind is a little bit softer than in the ocean, witch helps a lot for learnig, once it blows averge 25 knots at the beach every day.
The spot is precisely chosen, cross wind is necessary to provide the students an easy walking back upwind on a beautiful white sand.
The region houses several lagoons, but Lagoa Paraíso stands out because of it’s depth, proximity to Preá and Jericoacoara and sandy shore aligned to the wind.
