Who we are

Foil Journey was born in 2023 with the objective of providing the best foiling experience to all levels of riders. Our founder, André Ferreira, is an experienced waterman, having gone through windsurf, kitesurf, wingfoil, parawing, and more during his 16 years in the water.

He now relies on the support of his fiancée, Júlia Morais. Also a kitesurfer and wingfoiler, she brings a passionate and attentive perspective to the team, ensuring our students have an even more complete and welcoming experience.

To ensure the best conditions year-round, we operate in two strategic bases: from September to January, we are located in the wind paradise of Preá, Brazil, and from April to August, we are based in the stunning Viana do Castelo, Portugal.

With wingfoiling as our main specialty, do not think twice if you want to get into this sport. The opportunity is unique: the best methodology, radio communication system, new equipment, and a perfect training spot are what set Foil Journey apart from the others.
