Wingfoil

Wingfoil is a water sport that combines a handheld inflatable wing with a hydrofoil board. The rider stands on the board and holds the wing directly with their hands to catch the wind. There are no lines, bars, or masts attaching the wing to the board.

The equipment is simple and safe. The wing is light and inflatable, making it easy to handle. If you feel too much power, you simply let go of the wing with one hand, and it stops pulling immediately. This makes it very accessible for beginners.

The main objective is to generate enough speed to lift the board out of the water. Once the board lifts, the hydrofoil underneath cuts through the water with minimal friction. This allows for a smooth ride even in choppy conditions.

This sport is very versatile. You can practice it on flat water, ride ocean waves, or do freestyle jumps. It allows you to sail in any direction, including upwind and downwind.

At Foil Journey, we teach you step-by-step. You start by controlling the wing on the beach, then move to a large board in the water, and finally learn to fly on the foil.
